Creation of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of great compassion sand mandala in Red Deer museum - art and gallery was successfully completed today with the Honourable abbot of our monastery Khen Rinpoche Jampa Sopa Lak’s extensive explanation of the mandala and guidances on how the afflictive emotions including anger and so forth... could be pacified or overcome through the implementation of their respective counteracts. The event was joyfully concluded with the dissemination ceremony. We take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation to Red Deer museum staffs and Ms.Lorna Johnson in particular for hosting us and for their warm hospitality extended.
